Niccolò Cusano University, commonly referred to as UNICUSANO, is a private, for-profit online university founded in 2006 by Stefano Bandecchi in Rome, Italy. The institution is named after Nicholas of Cusa (Niccolò Cusano in Italian), a Roman Catholic cardinal, scientist, and astronomer.
Before July 9, 2012, the university operated from locations on Via Casalmonferrato and Via Don Orione. It later relocated to its current campus, enhancing its facilities to better serve its students. UNICUSANO also operates a publishing house, Edizioni Edicusano, and supports scientific advancements through the Niccolò Cusano Foundation for medical research.
