Kadir Gök received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Education from Gazi University, Afyon Kocatepe University, and Kocaeli University, respectively. His academic journey began in 2004 as an Instructor at Dumlupınar University, followed by specialized training in Biomechanics at Ulm University, Germany. Throughout his career, Prof. Gök has made substantial contributions to the field of engineering and biomechanics. He has authored numerous scientific publications and has been actively involved in TÜBİTAK- and BAP-supported projects. He holds a total of twenty-six (26) patents, including two registered patent, as well as two (2) registered trademarks, demonstrating his innovative spirit and impact on technology development. He has served as a mentor in various design and project competitions, where his students have won multiple awards under his guidance. In addition, he has personally received several scientific publication awards. Prof. Gök is also the author or co-author of nearly thirty (30) book projects focused on computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and computer-aided engineering (CAE), reflecting his deep expertise and commitment to engineering education and application. In 2016, he joined Manisa Celal Bayar University as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. Since August 2019, he has been serving in the Biomedical Engineering Department at İzmir Bakırçay University, where he attained the rank of Professor in July 2023. From June 2020 to December 2023, he also served as the Director of the Biomedical Technologies Design Application and Research Center at the same university. His research interests include biomechanics, biomaterials, biosensors, computer-aided finite element analysis, and the design of biomedical and orthopedic devices.
